Tilburg University, partner in the ENGAGE.EU Alliance, will host a conference on “AI in Education”, June 22-23th, 2026. During the two day conference, partners will share their insights, best practices, tools and policies. Please check the programme for further details.
Key note prof dr Wayne Holmes
We are proud to welcome key note speaker Wayne Holmes, full Professor of Critical Studies of Artificial Intelligence and Education, University College London. Having been involved in education throughout his life, Wayne brings a critical studies perspective to the connections between AI and education (AI&ED), and their ethical, human rights and social justice implications. Wayne’s policy work includes advising several European ministries of education, and being a lead member of the Council of Europe’s expert group on AI and education.
Target group
The target audience is deliberately broad: allowing for different parts of the ENGAGE.EU university community – leaders, learners, academics and professionals (such as IT, legal, policy makers, educational designers and technical developers) to reflect on changing perceptions and practices in our education due to the rise of AI.
