Executive with 20+ years in Financial Services, combining senior leadership experience with a strong focus on impact, clarity, and sustainable performance. Currently Strategy Advisor & Executive Coach at VORTRAGEND Soul-driven Organisations.

Over nearly two decades in leadership roles, I have seen first-hand that the success or failure of leaders is often decided in their first months in a new role. The first 100 days are not just an onboarding phase – they are a defining transition that shapes credibility, trust, and long-term impact.

At the same time, I am convinced that sustainable business success is only achieved when organizations create value for all stakeholders – not just financially, but also for people, customers, and society. This belief led me to found VORTRAGEND, a platform dedicated to stakeholder value creation and the development of purpose-driven, high-impact leadership.

At the core of my work is a structured “First 100 Days” program for leaders in new roles, supporting them to gain clarity, build trust, and create measurable impact from the very beginning.

My work combines:

    • strategic clarity and stakeholder alignment
    • conscious leadership and personal positioning
    • practical implementation in complex organizational environments

I believe in organisations where leadership goes beyond performance metrics – where people contribute with purpose, teams build trust, and companies create value far beyond financial results.

As part of my engagement with ENGAGE.EU, I support students and early-career professionals in shaping their path with intention, helping them reflect on their strengths, define their direction, and make confident career decisions.

Ting has spent 15+ years building bridges — between wind farm sites and C-suite boardrooms, between Eastern and Western ways of working, between technical complexity and human clarity. And somewhere along the way, she discovered that the deepest learning often happens not in the meeting room, but around a shared table.

Her journey

Ting grew up in Beijing watching her father shape dough into intricate sculptures — one of China’s oldest culinary crafts. She never imagined she’d follow that path. Instead she built a global career, managing wind turbine construction projects in Inner Mongolia, establishing Siemens’ China Innovation PMO, leading a 500+ member PM community, and advising CEOs on €200M+ portfolios.

Then in 2017, she moved from Beijing to Munich — and the taste of home became something rare and precious. So she started cooking. Food became her second language for connection — and eventually, the foundation of an entirely new practice.

What she brings

    • 15+ years of strategic project leadership across EMEA and Asia — from field execution to board-level advisory
    • Team coaching through cooking — immersive experiences where teams reveal how they truly collaborate, lead, and trust, using the kitchen as a live coaching laboratory
    • Culinary storytelling — authentic Chinese recipes carried across generations, shared with curiosity and warmth, rooted in the belief that food is memory, identity, and joy
    • Certified in PMI®, Scrum Alliance®, CO-ACTIVE® coaching, and visual facilitation, and Siemens Chief Assessor for PM certification
    • Cross-cultural fluency — born in the East, seasoned in the West, fluent in English, Chinese, and diverse business cultures

Through tas-ting, Ting brings these worlds together. She designs events that are not cooking classes, not workshops, but something richer: a space where people slow down, create together, and rediscover what great teams are actually made of.

She believes: when we cook and eat together, we don’t just nourish our bodies — we awaken something deeper: the part of us that creates, connects, and comes alive.
