On Thursday, May 14, from 15.30-17.00, Tilburg University organizes an online masterclass about PhD for all (ENGAGE.EU) students. If you are thinking about doing a PhD and starting a career in the Netherlands as a researcher, this webinar is interesting for you.
The first half hour will be a general session where we will provide you with more information about:
- What is a PhD? (definition, core activities and salary indication)
- Why doing a PhD in NL? (Dutch specifics and number of promotions)
- Where to find PhD positions?
- How to prepare for a PhD? (CV & personal pitch tips)
- Career perspective (transferable skills & career tools for after the PhD)
In the second part of the master class we will split up in groups where you get specific information about the process of becoming a PhD’er within one of our schools. During this part of the webinar, a current PhD’er will also join the session to share his/ her experience and answer your question.
Sounds interesting? Please send an email to studentcareerservices@tilburguniversity.edu in which you mention that you would like to participate in the PhD master class as an ENGAGE.EU student.
