Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) combines academic learning with real-world experience, empowering professionals to bridge the gap between theory and practice. At ENGAGE.EU, WIL takes the form of challenge-based learning, where professionals deepen their knowledge through online courses, workshops, and more. This learning is then applied in practical settings—such as bootcamps or their own workplaces—where professionals tackle real-life challenges in collaboration with ENGAGE.EU partners. The programmes are developed through a unique partnership between leading European universities, each contributing their expertise to create meaningful, impact-driven learning experiences.

Our ideas and thoughts about the future have a significant influence on how we think and act today. However, this connection often goes unnoticed. Trends, social narratives, and personal experiences shape the way we imagine tomorrow, which often leads to the notion of a predetermined or even inevitable future. Yet, the future is not a fixed destination but a realm of possibilities rooted in our own imagination. The capability to harness this imagination to design divergent futures is known as Futures Literacy. By imagining various possible futures, we gain insights that enable us to make more informed decisions in the present, even in uncertain and complex circumstances.

Practitioner Program – Ramon Llull University
Call for enrolments
Every founder and startup has different needs, from validation to launch and growth. Our program helps motivated founders turn high‑potential projects into market‑ready ventures, with a personalized journey tailored to each team’s stage, goals, and challenges.
This accelerator is an online, cohort‑based program running from June to September, designed to strengthen entrepreneurial mindset, sharpen execution, and accelerate market readiness. The journey culminates in a Demo Day, where selected startups present their projects to the community, investors, and experienced founders.

Practitioner Program – University of National and World Economy
The course is part of the ENGAGE.EU initiative and is offered by the IPS at the UNWE with the participation of lecturers from UNWE, Tilburg University, Ramon Llull University – Barcelona and includes online educational materials of Vienna University of Economics and Business. The goal of the course is to introduce entrepreneurs at different stages of their business development to the role and importance of impact reporting tools for the success of an environmentally friendly business.
The focus of the training will be on justifying the need to implementation of the impact reporting in entrepreneurial practice and its role as a tool for achieving long-term competitive advantage.
Impact Catalyst Studio

The Impact Catalyst Studio is a new ENGAGE.EU learning initiative designed to help participants turn promising ideas into fundable, high-impact projects. Organised jointly by Luiss, the University of Mannheim, and WU, the 2026 edition brings together Master’s students, PhD candidates, researchers, and administrative staff from across the ENGAGE.EU alliance. External and associated partners will also contribute directly to the hands-on workshops.
Held fully online, the Impact Catalyst Studio combines theoretical lectures with practical, project-based labs. Over the course of eight weeks, participants learn to navigate the European public funding ecosystem, interpret Horizon Europe calls, collaborate across disciplines, and work with real external partners to shape viable, impactful project proposals.
Through this mix of expert input and real-world application, the programme supports participants in moving from an initial “big idea” toward concrete project concepts that can attract European funding and create societal value.
