Call for Applications:
ENGAGE.EU Data Management Days 2024
Topic: Data Management
Date: March 6-8, 2024
Location: University Toulouse Capitole
Application deadline: December 15, 2023
About the Event
New European and national regulations are pushing our universities to implement a data management policy that will change our research practices. In addition, researchers are increasingly required to develop a data management plan to respond to the European Commission calls for proposals. In this context, the “Data Management Days” will be organized within the ENGAGE.EU R&I project to promote the exchange of best practices.
ENGAGE.EU is an alliance of leading European universities in business, economics, and social sciences, which aims to provide European citizens with the set of skills and competencies they need to face the challenges of the future.
This 3-day workshop will bring together one researcher and one support staff member from each university. It will take place from 6-8 March 2024 at University Toulouse Capitole and it will include several collaborative workshops and conferences. The aim of these workshops will be the facilitation of exchange, reflection and new initiatives in this field. We will also invite a panel of experts to provide you with new insights and expertise on general open science issues.
UT Capitole will cover the costs of accommodation, and both cultural and academic sessions. Travel expenses will be covered by the ENGAGE.EU R&I project.
The event will start at noon on Wednesday the 6th and end at noon on the 8th.
Opportunities for participating researchers
This event is an opportunity for you to improve your skills and knowledge through theoretical sessions but also to exchange ideas through informal discussions. You will also be able to learn from the experiences of other partner participants, particularly through sharing your actions and the difficulties you may encounter. You will also gain practical skills by working on the design of a data management plan.
You can discover the city and the campus of Toulouse Capitole University through cultural activities (Campus tour, informal activity). In addition, this workshop enables you to meet your ENGAGE.EU colleagues and expand your international network.
