Academic Initiative Incubator

About

The ENGAGE.EU Academic Initiative Incubator (the Incubator) aims to foster new collaborations in teaching and learning across institutions in the ENGAGE.EU alliance. It is an instrument for partners to develop bottom-up initiatives for new educational offers and to provide learners with high-quality international opportunities for learning. The Incubator offers academic teaching staff assistance in the development of new collaborative teaching offers while also serving as an information platform for innovation in higher education learning. The Incubator operates through a network of local contact points.

The Academic Incubator serves the academic teaching staff and students in the alliance in the following ways:

  • Guidance in the process of developing new collaborative teaching initiatives
  • Matchmaking: help with identifying potential teaching collaborators from across the alliance
  • Seed funding for the development of joint teaching initiatives involving three or more ENGAGE.EU alliance partners. The 2025 incubator call is now open.
  • Advice on procedures and funding sources to establish new teaching opportunities on a long-term basis
  • Information on training resources in pedagogic development
  • Sharing of information on current discussions in innovation and teaching
