Standing on the shoulders of the existing concepts of entrepreneurship, innovation, and intrapreneurship, we came up with a brand new idea of ‘innopreneurship’ to encompass them all and jump onto a whole new level.

It may look like a complex term, but we think of it as a magical gateway to the intersection of the vast set of skills, knowledge, and attitudes helping us unlock opportunities and transform them into value for others.

Innopreneurship will be vital to so many of ENGAGE.EU’s future activities. Therefore, we have planned to dive in further: an ‘innopreneurship literacy’ concept will be coming shortly, and we’ll be launching an ENGAGE.EU-wide student competition in 2022.

Thank you to Rudolf Dömötör (WU Vienna) and his team members across the Alliance who worked on this. Their in-depth report, which exhausted the available literature, formed ENGAGE.EU’s own definition innopreneurship and sketched an innopreneurial mindset framework, will be a fruitful basis of many things to come over the next months.
