As a participant in the work package that focuses on engaged research and innovation, I work together with the partner institutions to develop initiatives and exchanging good practices for acknowledging societal engagement. There is a very strong link between what we’re doing within ENGAGE.EU and the Dutch Recognition & Rewards Programme. The goal of this programme is to achieve a system and a culture change to diversify the career paths for our academic staff and to create room for everyone’s talent. We’re hoping that other European countries will join us in this movement — and ENGAGE.EU offers us an opportunity to work together.
