Results from the third ENGAGE.EU Online Speed Chess Tournament

The third edition of the ENGAGE.EU Online Speed Chess Tournament took place on May 19th 2023. The event was organized by the Physical Education and Sports Department at the University of National and World Economy (Sofia).
Participants from four partner universities – UNWE Sofia, LUISS University, University of Mannheim and University Toulouse Capitole, played in this year’s competition and here are the final results in singles:
- Jan Schopp – University of Mannheim
- Kristian Slaveykov – UNWE Sofia
- Nikolay Boshnakov – UNWE Sofia
For a second straight year UNWE Sofia is first in the team standings.
The competition will took place online via the “lichess” platform and according to the swiss system in nine rounds.
The winners received trophies and all participants received certificates for their participation.
