European University Association elects two members of the ENGAGE.EU community

ENGAGE.EU is proud to announce that yesterday at the General Assembly of the European University Association (EUA) two members of the ENGAGE.EU community have been elected.

The former URL Rector Josep M. Garrell will be the next President of the EUA. He was elected at the EUA General Assembly in Gdańsk. Garrell will take office on 1 July 2023 and serve a four-year term. He will chair the EUA Board, which is responsible for developing and implementing the association’s policies and planning its activities.

After the election of Josep M. Garrell, the members of the EUA also elected new board members. Among others, the Rector of Tilburg University, Wim van den Donk, was elected to the EUA Board.
